Why OTS

Why One Teacher School

The first word revealed by God, the almighty is اقراء meaning “read”. But unfortunately, the community and nation is lagging behind in education. Ignorance is the gateway to most of the crimes, conflicts and societal inequality. Education, especially of girls, provides a knowledge based empowerment which is long lasting and may percolate through generations. A fragile and delicate plant becomes a strong tree one day if nurtured carefully. The initiative of ‘One Teacher School’ is planned to build a future society based on values, equality, and knowledge; all of which comes from education.

  • A major chunk of the kids do not go/cannot afford to go to a School.
  • OTS will take education to the doorstep of every household.
  • A “Grass root + Para troop” approach.
